Cleansing Green Smoothie
450g pineapple (approx 1/3 of a large pineapple)
2 inch piece of cucumber
1 stick of celery
1 handful spinach
1 teaspoon of chlorella or spirulina (optional)
750mls coconut water
Cut the fruit and veg into smaller pieces, then add to a high speed blender with the coconut water and blend until smooth. I did this in 2 stages as too much for one go. This is a fairly smooth smoothie but if you prefer a juice, strain using a fine mesh strainer.
This made approx 1.5 litres of green smoothie, which you can store in the fridge for the day.
