Acai Berry Bowl
I love a smoothie bowl as they're filling, nutrient packed and tasty. They're really easy to make and kid friendly as long as you let them add their own toppings, in my experience! The consistency should be thicker than a normal smoothie, like soft ice cream, so that you can eat it with a spoon.
2 frozen bananas
1 punnet blueberries
100mls coconut milk (or any other plant based milk)
2 teaspoons acai powder (I am using Organic Acai Berry powder from Green Origins at the moment)
Scoop into bowls and top with anything you like but I used strawberries, blueberries, passion fruit and raspberries, goji berries and a little desiccated coconut for this one.
Acai is a purple fruit native to the South American Amazon.
