This is what my next three days look like…
I am doing a 42 Juice Cleanse for three days, which involves drinking green juices, almond mylk, lemon water, water and herbal teas. It’s recommened that you bathe in Himalyan salt and Epsom salts, to take saunas, dry skin brush, sleep lots and take things really easy too.
I tend to do 2 or 3 juice cleanses a year, usually around the change of the seasons and in May. I sometimes prepare them myself and sometimes use a juice company like Radiance in London or 42 Juice, Brighton. I feel that there are lots of benefits to short juice cleanses where you drink plenty of raw, organic juices. You give your digestive system a rest and allow your body to repair. People report increased energy, healthier skin and eyes, better sleep, increased focus, improved digestive health and a feeling of good wellbeing after juice cleansing. You may feel lighter too.
This cleanse was delivered to my door this morning and all the juices are organic, raw and cold pressed. The cleanse is well thought out and easy to use as all the juices are numbered from 1 – 5. The company delivers nationwide.
The little piece of wood in the picture is called Palo Santo, which is enjoyed for its energetically cleansing and healing properties. It’s traditionally used for relieving common colds, flu, stress, anxiety, depression and more and has been used for years to purify, cleanse and heal. Similar to smudging using sage, light the end of the wood and allow the flame to go out after 30 seconds, before moving round the house, using the smoke to cleanse the space, taking care when working with fire.
