✨ Granola is so easy to make and a healthy breakfast to have to hand. It’s great with a plant based milk and fresh fruit. ⠀⠀
It’s a case of mixing all the dry ingredients together with the melted wet ingredients, layering across a baking tray and baking for 20 mins.
Pre heat your oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
For this granola, I added a Christmas twist with a few warming spices. Feel free to play around with the recipe. You could add pecans instead of almonds, hemp seeds instead of sunflower. I tend to add 100g of each to keep a good balance. ⠀⠀
100g rolled oats
100g flaked coconut
100g sunflower seeds
100g pumpkin seeds
1/2 a teaspoon of cinnamon, ground cloves and ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon maple syrup
Melt the coconut oil and maple syrup together, then stir through the dry ingredients well. ⠀⠀
Line a baking tray with parchment, then spread the mixture across, so that it’s an even layer. I did this in two batches. Bake for 20 mins.
Allow to cool, then store in a glass jar for up to a month ✨
