I knew about H&M's Conscious clothing but discovered their skincare at the weekend. The range is described as "Good for people, the planet and your wallet" and includes nearly 30 beautifully packaged products for skin, hair and body. They're GMO, paraben and silicone free, natural and are made from organic certified ingredients. Organic products can mean different things. In this case it means Ecocert-approved with organic certification. The Ecocert seal of approval means the products meet the products must have at least 95% of the total ingredients from natural origin and at least 10% of the total ingredients from organic farming.
Included in the range are face masks, shampoo, deodorant, creams, oils and balms.
I bought the vanilla lip balm (£5.99), the all over balm (£6.99) and relaxing perfume oil (£7.99) and love them all. The perfume oil is going to be a permanent fixture in my handbag - smells light and perfect for every day use. The deodorant is £4.99 and is aluminium free and made of ingredients like aloe vera and glycerine. I haven't tried it yet but it sounds good.
A brilliant, affordable, sustainable, stylish and natural skincare range from H&M.
