Konjac Sponge From The Konjac Sponge Company
Konjac is a plant native to Asia and can be found growing wild at high altitudes. It's a natural food source, made up of 97% water and is rich in minerals. Naturally alkaline, konjac is PH neutral and leaves the skin perfectly balanced.
This moisture rich plant fibre has been used for over 1000 years in Korea, Japan and China as medicine, food, as a dieting aid and as a beauty product. The konjac sponge was originally created for delicate baby skin but is increasingly becoming a cult skincare classic.
I chose the French Red Clay Konjac Facial Puff Sponge because my skin is prone to dryness. The Konjac sponge with french red clay gives a deep cleanse and gentle exfoliation to brighten dull complexions and helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. This sponge is also perfect for skin prone to uneven skin tone, blotchiness, broken capillaries and thread veins.
I cleanse my face with my favourite Liz Earle's Cleanse And Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser and then cleanse again using the sponge.
A lovely new addition to my skincare routine.
